lynn's corner lincoln county school district expeditionary learning
Lynn and I both travelled to Boston, Massachusetts, for this Expeditionary Learning seminar and training... she as a Media and Leadership rep, and I as a local business rep and mentor.
We travelled with Waldport High Principal, Von Taylor, and Assistant Principal, Don Kordosky.
For several days we got to interact with a wide variety of teachers and administrators from Boston and the surrounding areas.
We also spent our spare time exploring the area sights and restaurants with these teachers and administrators.
When we returned, we were able to apply much of what we had learned with two business classes at Waldport... the students started a kayak shack and an ice cream stand.

One of our learning assignments was to break up into small groups and visit a local historical site and present a report to the rest of the seminar.
We visited the African Meeting House and I took photos for our PowerPoint presentation.
